RESOLUTION NO. 01, s. 2013

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF OUR ORGANIZATION FOR ACCREDITATION AS PEOPLE'S ORGANIZATION (POs), NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION (NGOs) OR PRIVATE SECTORS (PSs) WITH THE QUEZON CITY COUNCIL FOR POSSIBLE MEMBERSHIP IN THE QUEZON CITY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (CDC) AND OTHER LOCAL SPECIAL BODIES (LSBs) AND DESIGNATING ITS AUTHORIZED PRINCIPAL AND ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVES THERETO.

              WHEREAS, 160-168 Sauyo Road Neighborhood Association, Inc. is an organization duly organized and existing in accordance with laws, rules and regulations with postal address at  160 Sauyo Road Extension, Barangay Sauyo, District 6, Quezon City.

              WHEREAS, the organization is willing to be involved in the formation and implementation of the Quezon City's plans, programs, projects and activities under its PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM;

              WHEREAS, towards the attainment of its objectives, the organization has decided to apply for accreditation with the Quezon City Council for possible membership in the City Development Council and other Special Bodies.

               NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 160-168 Sauyo Road Neighborhood Association, Incorporated, during its last regular meeting, to authorize as it hereby authorizes the filing of the application of the organization for accreditation with the Quezon City Council for possible membership in the City's Local Special Bodies, preferably in the Committee of Public Affairs, Information and People's Participation;

               RESOLVED FURTHER, to designate as it hereby designate the following officers of our organization who are bonafide residents of Quezon City to be its duly authorized Principal and alternate representatives to attend in the General Assembly Meeting/Selection of POs/NGOs/PSs Membership/Representations in the CDC of other LSBs/Councils of Quezon City and in such related activities.

MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF 160-168 SAUYO RD., NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, INC., HELD AT THE PRESIDENT'S HOUSE, 160 SAUYO RD., EXT., SAUYO, QUEZON CITY ON APRIL 7, 2013.

                    The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by the presiding officer at which a majority quorum consisted on attendance recorded.

                     The meeting then commenced through a prayer led by one of the members, followed by the opening address of the president, Mr. Gerry Cantos whom he voiced out that there arer some officials who are now inactive and we need some help to sustain our association. He further clarified that we need to elect some officials.

                      Thus, the floor was open for nominations. The president, Mr. Cantos voiced out his desire to go down from his seat. At this point there was a suggestion that all officials were to be elected anew.

                       Nominations for different positions were thrown by the public and through raising hands the elections were conducted.

                       The highlights of the meeting came to its blooming moments when officials were elected.  

                      Having no other transactions to be discussed, the meeting was called to adjourn and seconded at 11:45 a.m.
